Available in four languages: English, Dutch, French and German. www.Lightingreality.com detects the language setting of your computer and defaults to that language - so it doesn’t matter if you are lighting the roads around the Reichstag; covering the canal side in Amsterdam, or adding some twinkle to the Champs-Élysées, the information you see online will be in the right language.
Reality software enables lighting engineers to design lighting schemes with a wide selection of lighting manufacturers’ products, and allows conformity to all major international standards: US IESNA Standard Grid RP-8, EN 13201, CIE 115/140 and BS5489: Parts 2, 3 and 10. In addition, the software also includes local standards variations, where applicable, such as Longitudinal Uniformity in France – and the Dutch “S” class option.
The fast, automatic calculations provided by Reality enable designers to try any number of combinations of columns and lanterns to achieve the optimum lighting solution for a municipal area, road, highway or motorway. This is well proven on the website where visitors can view a movie that shows Reality’s technical director, Nick Smith, design an exterior lighting scheme for a two-lane highway in just two minutes.
A fully functional 30-day trial copy of the latest Reality PRO version of the program with a full data-set can be downloaded directly from the website, as can a quick download version with a limited data set, both are free to download and offer full functionality. Either version can then be activated as a fully licensed version via the website at any time.
Also available at www.Lightingreality.com is a quick free download option of the program’s READER software which allows any project to be viewed by customers and other third-parties.
